Kane Atlanta, a women’s clothing boutique at 691 14th St. in west Midtown, will host a day of philanthropic shopping to benefit The Atlanta Speech School Guild’s 44th annual Language and Literacy Gala, Atlanta’s longest running charity event, Aug. 24 from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Mention the Atlanta Speech School and you will receive 15 percent off your purchase, and 15 percent of all purchases from that day will be donated to the gala by Kane.
Approaching its 80th anniversary, the school has grown to be regarded as the nation’s most comprehensive center for language and literacy.
